Since 2010 we’ve helped engineering companies manage their projects, teams and data more effectively.
GEROC has provided project data management and reporting systems to a growing number of engineering companies for more than a decade. Our focus has always been cost-effective systems that help teams manage projects and optimise how their resources are used.
We’ve developed numerous time-saving tools to improve efficiency, and we keep investing in the latest technologies — from mobile field apps to secure, authenticated APIs and, soon, a new generation of web apps and services.

In every phase of a project, the right people need the most up-to-date information before critical decisions are made. That principle shapes everything we build.
Powerful capability that engineers actually enjoy using — in the field and the office.
Enterprise Microsoft SQL Server® storage, with AGS3 and AGS4 support, for data you can trust.
One integrated platform spanning mobile, desktop, API and web, with more on the way.
Seven of us. Small enough that the people who build the software are the people who support you — and you get to know them.
Richard started work on what is now Geroc in 2008, with the official launch the day after the September 2010 Canterbury Earthquake. He graduated from the University of Canterbury in 1999 with a B.Sc (1st class) in Engineering Geology, then worked in the UK on large road and rail site investigations before returning to New Zealand to work on hydroelectric investigations — where his interest in data management grew into building a simpler system. Today he focuses on future development and client requirements.
Bevan graduated with a B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Canterbury and worked extensively in the sector before joining Geroc. He has worked across many areas of CORE-GS and keeps busy with the Client Portal and licensing system. When he’s not buried in code, he can usually be found renovating his house, at athletics, or climbing mountains with his kids.
Hannah joined Geroc as a Data Scientist and Support Technician, after graduating from the University of Canterbury with a B.Data.Sc in Spatial Data. She leads Geroc’s work in the AI and machine-learning areas, bringing that data background to both the numbers behind CORE-GS and the customers who rely on it day to day.
Albin is a Software Developer / Analyst who leads the mobile and sync side of the platform — CORE-GS MOBILE and the data flow that keeps site and office in step. He works across the wider codebase too, keeping things running smoothly for the teams that rely on it.
Danish is a Software Developer / Support Technician and works across many areas of the platform. He’s often the first point of contact for customers — troubleshooting, configuring databases and templates, and building the tutorials, documentation and training that help new users get up to speed, as well as assisting with trials and onboarding.
Freddie is a Software Engineer / Analyst on the Geroc development team who leads the architecture and API side of CORE-GS. He focuses on designing and implementing changes that improve the platform’s performance and capabilities.
Eva looks after day-to-day operations, payroll, accounts and administration at Geroc.
